Study on dynamic transient stability taking into account load-voltage characteristics

Taking into account the effects of power-voltage characteristics of load and regulators such as automatic voltage regulators and speed governors are important for the development of an efficient method of analyzing power system stability. The effects of power-voltage characteristics of load and automatic voltage regulators on the dynamic transient stability of a multimachine system is analyzed paying special attention to the computing time requirement. The fault condition in which the power-voltage characteristics of load have the most remarkable effect on the dynamic transient stability is studied. A step-by-step method of analysis is used.
