Resistivity, VLF, and radar were used to image a leachate plume emanating from a landfill in northern Michigan. The resistivity arrays were dipole-monopole and mise-a-la-masse. VLF data were enhanced and interpreted using linear filters to convert the data to subsurface electric current densities and to apparent resistivities. The general agreement of these methods provide confidence as to the extent of the plume and the direction of groundwater flow.
