The desorption of nitric oxide intercalated into La{sub 1.4}Ba{sub 0.6}SrCu{sub 2}O{sub 6} was evaluated by temperature programmed desorption-mass spectrometry. The dissociative NO desorption proceeds via the oxygen exchange between the intercalated No and the cuprate lattice.
