Descriptions are provided for all projects funded by DOE under annual contracts in FY 1985. Each description contains the project's title, 3-year funding history, the contract period over which the funding applies(d), the name(s) of the principal investigator(s), the institution conducting the projects, and the project's objectives, products and approach. Project descriptions are categorized within the report according to each one's emphasis relative to the six principal program area: carbon cycle, climate and first detection, vegetation response, indirect effects, scientific interface, and integration and evaluation.
