Rubber-lined frac tanks offer advantages

The storage, movement and dispensing of many kinds of reactive chemicals, caustics, and acids ranging from hydrochloric acid to sodium hydroxide are handled by a frac tank supplier. These chemicals play an important role in well completion and stimulation. It is necessary that transport and storage equipment that handle these chemicals be resistant to corrosive action, or be lined with a corrosion resistant material, such as rubber. This will protect and prolong the life of expensive equipment and hardware and, at the same time, prevent contamination of frac fluids. Types of rubber liners used in corrosion protection are described.
