A scheme for selecting the optimal types of collectors based on alkylammonium salts of isopoly acids and heteropoly acids for the coprecipitation of inorganic ions has been proposed. The scheme is based on the variation of the reactions between sorbates and sorbents as a function of the energy characteristics of the ions being concentrated. The expediency of the application of the scheme for practical purposes has been demonstrated in the example case of the coprecipitation of thorium, scandium, yttrium, and germanium with collectors based on isopoly acids and heteropoly acids of molybdenum.
