The 1996 IEEE International Symposium on Electrical Insulation was held from June 16 through June 19, 1996 at the Hotel du Parc in Montreal, Province of Quebec, Canada. The Symposium provided an international forum for exchange of information about the latest advances in research on the development of insulating materials and understanding of related dielectric phenomena.
