Positronium annihilation in the field of a plane electromagnetic wave

The probabilities of one-quantum and two-quantum annihilation of positronium in the field of a plane electromagnetic wave are derived. It is shown that the probability of annihilation of orthopositronium can be considerably increased at experimentally attainable intensities of the external waves.
