The Corporation was established in 1981 to design, construct and operate a province-wide system for the treatment and disposal of liquid industrial and hazardous wastes, and to develop a long-term program to assist in the reduction and recycling of such wastes. This report presents highlights of the year; a report on environmental assessment review and facility design of its proposed waste management facility; a market assessment of the amount, type and sources of special wastes; the promotion of industrial waste reduction; and public consultation and communication in the Niagara Region. A financial statement is included.
