Recent results from hadronic experiments at the National Accelerator Laboratory

A summary is presented of recent data on the elastic scattering of protons and the inelastic production of pions, kaons, and protons in proton-proton collisions at high energies. Measurements obtained using counter and bubble chamber techniques at the National Accelerator Laboratory are compared with similar data available at lower energies. Final-state multiplicities and single-particle production cross sections at all values of transverse momentum appear to be changing in a systematic manner with the scattering energy. These variations are discussed within the framework of available models.
