Conference · · Minutes Meet. - Pa. Electr. Assoc., Eng. Sect.; (United States)
OSTI ID:5242210
Some of the basic concepts of 800 MHz trunked radio systems are discussed. Emphasis is placed on the features, benefits, and limitations that particularly apply to trunked systems for utility operation. A trunked radio system offers a host of significant features that are unavailable in any other type of radio system. The state-of-the-art electronics that make this sophistication possible have also greatly simplified the use of the radio system making it a much more convenient and effective tool.
