Seabrook and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The licensing of a nuclear power plant

Book ·
OSTI ID:5238911
Recent and growing controversy over nuclear power plants has stemmed, in large part, from problems arising from operating plants. In this study of the plant at Seabrook, New Hampshire, opportunity arises to see the nuclear controversy from the ground floor up. The book, without taking sides in the heated debate over the future of nuclear power, represents the first methodical presentation of a major nuclear construction project as a case study from the time of its inception. As such, it serves as a selective analytical story of the licensing of and opposition to a nuclear power plant.
