Testing of remote equipment for the Secure Automated Fabrication Line

The Secure Automated Fabrication (SAF) Line is a remotely operated, plutonium fuel fabrication process being designed by Westinghouse Hanford Company for the Department of Energy. The Line incorporates extensive first-of-a-kind automated process equipment. A major test program is in progress to test process equipment in engineering facilities prior to final installation. The test program, facility, and early results are summarized in this report.
