The objective of this study was to evaluate the extent of agribusiness in the 15 Tennessee Valley counties of north Alabama and to provide a data base useful to agribusiness decisionmaking. An agribusiness firm was defined to include nonfarm businesses that conducted at least 75% of their business with farmers.
