The trajectory of the converging resonance cone due to a circular ring exciter in a weakly nonlinear plasma is derived. The analysis applies to all frequencies for which resonance cones exist, and the nonlinearity is assumed to be due to the ponderomotive force. It is shown that the nonlinear focal shift is either toward or away from the exciter, depending on the frequency and the plasma parameters.
