Wang 700 program to calculate a one-sided confidence interval for the parameter of a Poisson distribution

The Poisson distribution and its use in risk analysis are discussed. A method is given to estimate the parameter p and derive a one-sided confidence interval for p; since the calculation is tedious, a Wang 700 program has been written.
