Buildings and their energy systems - technologies and planning strategies: proceedings
This volume is the proceedings of a seminar entitled ''Buildings and Their Energy Systems: Technologies and Planning Strategies,'' held on October 16-18, 1984, in St. Louis, Missouri. The seminar was cosponsored by the Energy Management and Utilization and the Energy Analysis and Environment Divisions of EPRI, and was designed to assist utility marketing and customer service managers as well as forecasters and planners to understand the full range of technologies that can be applied by utilities to affect and analyze the load attributable to buildings. The seminar addressed, for both commercial and residential buildings, the following issues: Market Characteristics (Residential Buildings, Commercial Buildings, and Heat Pumps); Electrical Equipment (Heating and Cooling, Lighting, Load Management, and Lighting); Building Analysis Tools (Mainframe Computer Models, Microcomputer Techniques, and System Load Analysis Tools); Data for Modelling and Analysis (Survey Techniques, Survey Results, and Billing Data); Modeling Building Effects on Utility Systems (Commercial Buildings, Residential Buildings, and Utility Experience); and Demand Side Management. The papers have been entered individually into EDB and ERA. (LTN)
