P-odd effects in electron-deuteron elastic scattering

P-odd effects in electron-deuteron elastic scattering due to weak neutral currents are investigated. The effects of a possible violation of T invariance in the electromagnetic interaction of hadrons is also investigated. The cross sections for scattering of unpolarized and longitudinally polarized electrons by polarized deuterons are calculated for the cases of vector polarization and tensor polarization of the target deuterons.
