Hybrid trajectory simulation of the B77 system

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5215942

General equations of motion are developed and then specialized to form the basis of a B77 two-stage parachute system simulation. In this simulation, the body/parachute system is treated as a single composite body with six degrees of freedom and the parachute is allowed only three rotational degrees of freedom relative to the body. A general description of the hybrid computer implementation of this simulation is provided.
