Relativistic self-consistent nuclear model

A relativistic nuclear model is considered whose Lagrangian includes the nucleon field and the scalar and vector meson fields. The model is used to carry out relativistic self-consistent calculations of the Hartree type for the spherical /sup 16/O nucleus. The separation energies, the spin-orbit splitting, the rms radius, etc. are calculated.
