How to properly insure a cogeneration facility

As of mid-1985, federal investment tax credits and accelerated depreciation have made capital outlay easier to swallow for cogenerators. However, before the energy analyst is consulted, the risk manager should provide information on any new insurance requirements that cogeneration creates, since lack of proper insurance coverages can turn success into failure.
