The operation of a nuclear reactor requires careful attention to procedures in order that all safety precautions will be observed. To provide for safe operation, detailed procedures have been written for all phases of the operation of this facility. This volume of the HFIR Operating Manual is devoted to the detailed operating procedures and methods which will be employed. A minimum amount of descriptive material is included. In all cases where applicable, a standard format is used in presenting these procedures.
