Delayed emission of electrons is observed after absorption of several photons in the wavelength range from 212.8 to 532 nm. This phenomenon is explained by thermionic emission of electrons from hot C{sub 60} molecules. Photoelectrons and photoions are recorded under the same experimental conditions for further evidence.
