The symposium had the same title as this publication, Service Experience in Operating Plants and was sponsored by the Materials and Fabrication Committee of the ASME Pressure Vessels and Piping Division. The primary objectives of the sessions were to disseminate information on issues and degradation which have resulted from the operation of Nuclear and Fossil Power Plants, as well as Petrochemical Plants.
