The Federal Environmental Restoration Conference and Exhibition was held May 25-27, 1993 at the Sheraton Washington Hotel in Washington, DC. The Conference was divided into eight session as well as poster sessions. Topics ranged from technological developments for remediation to personnel safety at remediation sites. Legal aspects of pollution law compliance, public relations and public involvement, mixed waste treatment programs, and munitions remediation at military facilities were some of the issues presented. Poster sessions covered mainly site specific remediation techniques or research in remediation technologies.
