Operational ozone monitoring with the Global Ozone Monitoring Radiometer (GOMR). Technical memo

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5167601
The Global Ozone Monitoring Radiometer (GOMR) is planned for the next series of operational polar-orbiting meteorological satellites. The GOMR is conceived of being composed of two components: a nadir sounder for determining total ozone amounts and a limb sounder for determining vertical stratospheric distributions of temperature, ozone and other trace gases of importance to ozone photochemistry.
