Principal chapter coverage is devoted to thermoelectric, photovoltaic, thermionic and magnetohydrodynamic generators. Other modes of energy conversion briefly covered are as follows: Nernst effect, ferroelectric, thermomagnetic, thermo-photo-voltaic, electrohydrodynamic, electrokinetic, piezoelectric, radiation, direct charging devices, secondary particle collection devices, and fusion power.
