Modeling the effects of condenser inleakage on PWR chemistry

Crevice solution chemistry models are developed to evaluate the relation of condenser cooling water inleakage to pressurized water reactor (PWR) steam generator corrosion. Consideration is given to possible precipitation of 11 compounds including calcium sulfate, calcium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, magnetite, silica, and 6 silicates. 16 refs.
