This paper describes the tests performed by the McDonnell Douglas Astronautics Company - St. Louis Division (MDAC-STL) on three of the prototype cells in simulated low earth orbit. The test program included thermal and electrical parametric tests and over 6,000 cycles of nearly continuous life testing.
