Case history: Infill drilling increases reserves in Blanco Mesaverde and Basin Dakota Reservoirs, San Juan Basin, New Mexico

Conference · · Soc. Pet. Eng. AIME, Pap.; (United States)
OSTI ID:5155278
This paper describes the low permeability Blanco Mesaverde and Basin Dakota reservoirs in New Mexico, and presents data which supports the general conclusion that significant reserve increase can be developed by the use of infill drilling, that is, the drilling of additional wells on established spacing units.
