RAGS (Realtime Acquisition and Graphics System): An off-the-shelf hardware and system software small data acquisition computer

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:5152340
A family of small, functionaly comprehensive CAMAC based data acquisition systems has been developed to support experimenters whose requirements are not always compatible with available acquisition systems. Distinguishing features of these systems are their commercially built computer and CAMAC hardware, and the Fortran-77 programming language environment they provide to the user. These RAGS (Realtime Acquisition and Graphics System) units are most appropriate when the user is not able to support the dvelopment of original or 'one of a kind' hardware or software for data acquisition.
