Naphtha isomerization using a medium pore zeolite catalyst

A method for isomerizing naphtha feed is described. The method comprises contacting the naphtha feed with an H-offretite catalyst having a silica/alumina ratio of about 12 to 17 in the presence of hydrogen at a temperature between 200/sup 0/ and 400/sup 0/C, a pressure of about 14.7 to 1500 psig, a space velocity in the range of 0.05 to 75 V/V/hr and a hydrogen to feed ratio on a mole/mole basis in the range of 1:1 to 20:1.
