This patent describes apparatus to be run on a tubing string to clean out a casing bore, the tubing string and casing bore defining a well annulus therebetween. It includes a housing including connector means for connecting the housing to the tubing string; an upper packer means, connected to the housing, for sealing between the housing and the casing bore and for defining an upper portion of the well annulus above the upper packer means; a lower packer means, connected to the housing below the upper packer means for sealing between the housing and the casing bore, and for defining an intermediate portion of the well annulus between the upper and lower packer means and defining a lower portion of the well annulus below the lower packer means. This patent also describes a method of cleaning a casing bore of a well, comprising: breaking debris loose in a portion of the casing bore by rotating a workstring having a clean-out tool with teeth on a lower end thereof; reverse circulating well fluid up through the tool and the workstring to carry the debris out of the well; wiping the portion of casing bore as the tool is advanced; and jet washing the portion of the casing bore with well fluid.
