Use of bicubic splines for solving the Faddeev integro-differential equations

Journal Article · · Sov. J. Nucl. Phys. (Engl. Transl.); (United States)

The components of the wave function of a three-particle bound state satisfying the system of Faddeev integro-differential equations are treated as bicubic splines. The problem is reduced to a system of linear equations with a sparse matrix, the width of whose band is three times the number of grid knots in the angular variable.
