The multiparticle shell model with coupling of the intermediate type is used to carry out a combined analysis of the Coulomb energy differences for analog states of nuclei and hypernuclei of the 1p shell, taking into account the effect of the electromagnetic structure of the proton. The residual NN forces were extracted from the spectra of 1p-shell nuclei and the ..lambda..N forces were obtained from the hypernucleus binding energies and ..lambda..p scattering data. It is shown that the presence of the ..lambda.. particle leads to relatively small additional effects in the Coulomb energy differences. Comparison with the experimental energy differences of the analog states of 1p-shell hypernuclei indicates an effect due to the charge dependence of ..lambda..N forces of opposite sign relative to 1s-shell hypernuclei, which may be related to the parity dependence of the charge component of the ..lambda..N forces.
