A miscible flood process is described for the recovery of hydrocarbons from a hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir having a gas saturation. A hydrocarbon solvent that is conditionally miscible with the reservoir hydrocarbon liquid is injected into the reservoir. The solvent is followed by a drive fluid to move the previously injected solvent through the reservoir, thereby displacing the reservoir hydrocarbons to a production well from which they are produced.
