Using waste heat from existing compressor stations

This study examines selected applications of waste heat and types of economic analyses used for evaluation of energy conservation projects. Two alternatives for use of waste heat from existing compressor stations are considered. A variety of applications exist for the use of the recovered thermal energy. These include the supply of heat, steam, or electric power to the compressor station or to a nearby operation. Each of these is examined. 2 refs.
