The objective of this program was to study the feasibility of using a cw HF/DF laser as a high repetition rate optical pumping source for a 16 ..mu..m DF/DCN transfer laser. If successful such a system has potential applications to the Laser Isotope Separation Program conducted at Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory.
