HITSMOR users manual: a computer program to assess B77 laydown reliability
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:5117430
An event tree methodology is developed and implemented in a computer program, HITSMOR, to assess the reliability of the B77 bomb in the laydown mode of delivery. The HITSMOR program utilizes impact results obtained from Monte Carlo simulation of the B77 laydown process and predicts bomb survivability on the basis of the relative frequency of different impact conditions. The capability of the bomb to withstand impacts on various types of target structures is a part of the user-supplied input. Certain classes of predictable secondary impacts which occur after the first impact are considered. 23 figures, 14 tables.
