This patent describes a gas fired oven. It comprises: a housing including walls defining a chamber; partition means arranged within the housing chamber for separating the chamber into at least a first portion and a second portion in which items such as food products can be placed to be heated, the partition means having openings to permit air flow between the first and second chamber portions; blower means located within the first chamber portion for discharging and circulating air within the first chamber portion through at least one of the partition openings into the second chamber portion; air conduit means for directing air to the blower return air inlet, the air conduit means extending only partially into the first chamber portion and having an open inlet end outside the housing chamber and a discharge end inside the first chamber portion adjacent to the blower return air path; and gas flame source means located outside the housing chamber for producing heated air at the conduit inlet end which flows through the conduit means into the first chamber portion.
