Eucalyptus plantations for energy production in Hawaii

The feasibility of growing eucalyptus to replace part of the fuel oil in Hawaiian power plants is explored. The first 100 acres of the plantation have been planted; greenhouses for seedlings have been constructed; and future plans are described. (MHR)
