A report to the Shetland Oil Terminal Environmental Advisory Group on the beached bird survey scheme in Shetland, March 1979 to February 1980

The report describes bird mortality resulting from the 'Esso Bernicia' and so-called 'West-side' oilspill. Routine monthly Beached Bird Surveys were resumed in Shetland at the end of March 1979. This report presents the results obtained from 12 consecutive months' surveys.
