The roles of [Lambda][ital N]-[Sigma][ital N] coupling in [Lambda] hypernuclei and of [Lambda][Lambda]-[Xi][ital N] coupling in [Lambda][Lambda] hypernuclei are addressed. Suppression of [Lambda][ital N]-[Sigma][ital N] coupling in [sub [Lambda]][sup 4]H and [sub [Lambda]][sup 4]He due to Pauli blocking is reviewed, and its role in the [ital A]=4 level ordering is summarized. Its relation to the ordering of the [sub [Lambda]][sup 10]B levels and the missing 2[sup [minus]][r arrow]1[sup [minus]][gamma] is explored. Suppression of [Lambda][Lambda]-[Xi][ital N] coupling in [sub [Lambda][Lambda]][sup 6]He is hypothesized, and measurement of [sub [Lambda][Lambda]][sup 4]H is recommended to investigate the full [Lambda][Lambda]-[Xi][ital N] interaction.
