Imaging the active flame volume for pulsed laser-enhanced ionization spectroscopy

The authors describe a novel method for imaging a flame`s volume. The procedure is based on variable sampling of the laser enhanced ionization (LEI) active volume by variation of the potential of the sampling electrodes. 8 refs., 8 figs.
