Effect of molecular weight of disperse thermoplastic binders on the wetting and impregnation of fibrous fillers
Journal Article

· Mechanics of Composite Materials
Disperse polymers with different molecular weights were evaluated for their wetting properties of the melt droplet on monofilament fibrous fillers, the spreading characteristics of the droplet on the fabric surface, and the impregnation characteristics of the filler with the binder.
