Fina-Exxon press on with Antwerp cracker expansion

Fina-Exxon, the Antwerp-based olefins producer owned 65% by Fina, is pressing ahead with expansion of the number three Antwerp cracker by 50,000 m.t./year, to 500,000 m.t./year. Total capacity of the Antwerp crackers, rated at 1 million m.t./year of ethylene, will be raised 100,000 m.t./year. KTI is supplying the furnaces.
