Mechanisms of inorganic and organometallic reactions: vol. 2

Book ·
OSTI ID:5076018
This book reviews the literature related to the mechanistic aspects of inorganic and organometallic reactions in solution. Topics considered include the general and theoretical aspects of electron transfer, redox reactions between metal complexes, metal-ligand redox reactions, reactions of compounds of the nonmetallic elements, substitution reactions of inert metal complexes (chromium, cobalt, other inert centers), substitution reactions of labile metal complexes, substitution and insertion reactions of organometallic compounds, metal-alkyl bond formation and fission, oxidative addition and reductive elimination, the reactivity of coordinated hydrocarbons, the homogeneous catalysis of organic reactions by complexes of metal ions, and rearrangements, intramolecular exchanges, and isomerizations of organometallic compounds.
