Triple-differential cross sections for the fast-electron-impact ionization of atomic hydrogen

The triple-differential cross sections for the ionization of atomic hydrogen by fast electrons are analyzed in the case of coplanar asymmetric geometry with use of the modified Glauber approximation. Our results show an improved agreement with the recent measurements taken at 250 eV incident electron energy, compared to the second-Born-approximation or the eikonal Born-series results.
