b-barbx and W. --> nu. tau backgrounds for the UA1 monojet signal

Backgrounds from W..--> nu..tau and b-barbx, via the leptonic decay channel B/sub c/..--> nu..tau, may account for three out of the five UA1 monojet events with ..delta..E/sub M/>40 GeV.
