This progress report summarizes work performed by Argonne National Laboratory and a subcontractor (E.F. Rybicki, Inc.) on environmentally assisted cracking in light water reactors during the twelve months from October 1983 to September 1984. Topics studied include: effects of long-term aging and analysis of reactor components; crack growth rate studies; evaluation of nonenvironmental corrective actions; evaluation of environmental corrective actions; and mechanistic studies.
